A country counts its best 50 results in each discipline. Under fifty, every rider your country adds goes straight onto its score.
All of it goes to maritime rescue.
Entry is a donation, not a ticket. €20 is the minimum and anything above it is welcome. 80% goes international, to the IMRF. The other 20% stays local: a prize pot for the top three countries, paid to their own national rescue organisations.
The split applies to what remains after transaction fees.

The title
Add the six together. Most points wins WOO Worlds 2026; a tie goes to the country that won the most disciplines.
Netherlands takes it on 276 of 300 without winning Highest Jump, the board kiting is known for. Breadth beats dominance.
The prize
The top three countries split the pot. Every euro of it goes to their national maritime rescue organisations, not to riders.
Riders have their own draw: every session posted is a lottery ticket for partner prizes.

Rescue service films are shot through September and released across the month. Riders in different countries speaking to their own communities carries further than a brand doing it.

FAQ
Answers to the questions we get most.
Entering
Is the €20 an entry fee?
No. It is a donation with a €20 minimum, and anything above that is welcome. After transaction fees, 80% goes to the International Maritime Rescue Federation and 20% to the prize pot.
What if I don't have a smartwatch or WOO?
No problem. You can use your phone to track all three distance disciplines. The WOO sensor is only required for Highest Jump.
Can I use my phone to track distance while riding?
Yes. 15 Minute Blast, 1 Hour Blast and Total Distance can all be tracked using your phone's GPS through the WOO app.
Can I compete if I'm already using another GPS app?
For the distance disciplines, your ride needs to be recorded through a supported WOO tracking method so the result can count.
How does the 1 Hour Blast work?
Start recording, and the clock you are scored on starts five minutes later and runs for an hour — minutes 5 to 65 of your session. The first five are yours to get going; nothing before or after the hour counts. Whoever covers the most ground in that hour wins the board.
Can I represent a country I'm not currently living in?
You choose the country you want to represent and support when you enter.
Can wingers and windsurfers enter?
Yes, on all six boards. Wing and windsurf fields are new this year, so expect them to be smaller than kite. That is the starting point, not a reason to stay out.
